If I’m traveling from another country, when should I buy plane tickets?

Buy them as soon as you can as prices go up closer to the wedding date. You must fly into La Aurora International Airport in Guatemala City.
Is there a shuttle to and from the airport?

What’s the weather like in Antigua in December?

Sunny days and cool evenings. Daytime temperatures are usually around 22–24°C (72–75°F), while evenings cool down to about 11–14°C (52–57°F). Since the wedding is outdoors, we recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl for later in the evening.
What is the dress code?
Formal but fun! Wear whatever makes you feel your best.

Money exchange?

Even though credit cards are accepted almost everywhere, we recommend bringing some cash for markets, street food, local vendors, or activities like horseback riding on the volcano.
The exchange rate varies, but it's typically around 1 USD ≈ 7.7 GTQ (quetzales). You can exchange money at the airport currency exchange office or at banks in Antigua, and ATMs are available throughout the city.
How do I get around in Antigua?
We highly recommend exploring Antigua on foot, it's the best way to see the city! Just make sure to pack comfortable shoes for the cobblestone streets. Need to go a little farther? Uber, tuk-tuks, and taxis are all available.

When should I book my hotel?
As soon as possible! December is a very busy time in Antigua, and hotels tend to book up quickly. We recommend reserving your accommodation as early as you can.

Is parking available in Antigua?
Most hotels offer parking, but be sure to check when booking. There is no parking available at our venue. If you're driving around Antigua, street parking is common, and there are also several private parking lots throughout the city.
